Fly!

The beginnings of this piece was praise from the scriptures Isaiah 55, Psalm 66:1-4, Psalm 148, Rev 4:8b, 2 Corinthians 3:17.  Praise and freedom are released throughout this painting.  The native Eastern Tiger Swallowtail is a loving challenge or reminder to be free, dance, and fly higher.  Jason Upton’s song “Fly” inspired the title and felt in so aligned with the theme being released in this work.  There is Greek script throughout from Rev 4:8b joining with the praise around the Throne.
